Job Description:
IntroductionASML US brings together the most creative minds in

Diego California, Wilton Connecticut, and Hillsboro Oregon.ASML San
Jose is seeking a highly-motivated Sr. EH&S Specialist who will
provide technical assistance in the development and implementation
of Workplace Health & Safety Programs. The Sr. EH&S Specialists
will play a key role in maintaining compliance, the incident
reporting and analysis process and work closely with supervisors
and engineers to develop and implement corrective actions
preventing recurrence. With the committed support of ASML
Management, promotes a culture focused on safety and injury
prevention to maintain and implement best practices for a
comprehensive EH&S Management System.Roles and
Responsibilities:Improve and promote an incident-free workplace,
identifying and mitigating risks and implementing improvements,
while being a key influencer to improve overall safety
culture.Development, implementation, and management of programs,
procedures, and projects to ensure compliance with applicable
Federal, State, and Local occupational safety standards as well as
ASML Corporate and/or sector requirements.Lead safety incident
investigations, develop root cause analysis, and develop & assign
corrective actions. Verify the appropriateness and effectiveness of
action plans associated with incidents.Lead compliance audits and
guide teams with implementing corrective actions to ensure
compliance. Verify the appropriateness and effectiveness of action
plans associated with audit findings.Lead risk assessments such as
hazard assessments, ergonomic assessments, etc. as needed to reduce
workplace injuries. Verify the appropriateness and effectiveness of
action plans associated with assessments.Lead follow-up reviews for
action items assigned from incidents and risk assessments, while
engaging with key stakeholders from assignment through completion
and verification of assigned actions to ensure on-time
closure.Communicates all findings, concerns, and deficiencies to
responsible management.Represent the EH&S Department at
internal stakeholder staff meetings, communicating key information
such as KPIs, assessments, actions associated to incidents,
assessments, and other relevant information.Represent the EH&S
Department at other various key meetings, including but not limited
to cross sector meetings, Sr. Leadership meetings, collaboration
meetings with other ASML Sites or sectors (Domestically &
Globally).Be a key stakeholder for all advanced troubleshooting /
problem solving issues they may arise from internal stakeholder
escalations.Lead GEMBA walks in partnership with operational
teams.Be a key buddy and/or mentor to Department new hires and/or
EH&S Specialists as assigned or needed.Other EH&S
responsibilities as needed.Lead and manage projects from
requirements through deployment, identifying scope, schedules,
implementation plans, risk mitigation, budget, resources, etc.Plan,
develop, and work with project team to ensure maximum performance,
by providing purpose, direction, motivation, and assignment of
deliverables for project team members.Understand how your project
links to the overall organization, including the link with the risk
heatmap/profile.Establish and maintain relationships with key
stakeholders, providing project updates.Communicate project
progress to Sr. Leadership and other stakeholders at all levels of
the organization.Understand proper escalation paths and act
accordingly.Other Relevant Duties:Data collection and
analysis.Routine internal reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly,
and annual updates).Conduct business with the highest ethical
standards and demonstrate decision-making skills that ensure the
safety of all persons associated with ASML operations.This position
is fully on-site.Education and Experience:Bachelors degree in
Environmental / Occupational Health & Safety or related field of
study (i.e. Industrial Safety).Masters degree is a plus.Experience:
2+ years of work experience as an Environmental, Health and Safety
professional.Professional License or Certification (ASP, CSP, CIH,
etc.) is a plus but not required.Knowledge and understanding of
Federal, State, and Local regulations.Advanced applied knowledge of
health and safety programs including LOTO, Electrical Safety,
Working at Heights, Hazard Communication, Crane and Hoist, Confined
Space, Walking and Working Surfaces, Lasers, Machine Guarding,
Hazardous and Highly Toxic Gases, etc. is required.Skills:Ability
to assess and audit various workplace environments for potential
hazards and effect corrective action.Ability to interface with
other departments and outside contractors or regulatory agencies in
an effective and professional manner.Good interpersonal,
communication and organizational skills are essential.Ability to
work independently as well as in a team environment.Ability to
effectively prioritize under dynamic conditions.Ability to work
flexible and/or varied shifts to ensure safety coverage as
needed.Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills; solutions
oriented.Ability to wear a clean room suit as necessary.Proficient
skills and effective use of Microsoft Office applications.Ability
to climb ladders and/or lift materials (up to 35lbs.) as
necessaryThis position requires access to controlled technology, as
defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et
seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access
such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business
demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are
immediately eligible to access controlled technology.The current
base annual salary range for this role is currently
$87,375-$145,625. Pay scales are determined by role, level,
location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is
determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors
that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited
to job-related skills, relevant education and experience,
certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to
